IR&D and existing program design efforts requiring the following:
• X, Ku, and Ka-Band RF terminal design
• Support of design reviews (PDR, CDR)
• Creation of parts specifications
• RF analysis and system characterization
• Terminal prototyping and testing

ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED:

1. 10+ Years experience with SatCom. Experience with antenna systems, HPAs, network design, link budgets, testing and installation.

4. Must be familiar with SATCOM hardware and SATCOM test equipment (antenna, HPA, LNA, RF converter, modem, vide encoder, IRD, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, power meter, signal generator, MLA, protocol analyzer, noise figure meter, etc.) Technical expertise in RF system design (gain, phase noise, VSWR, inter-modulation, group delay) and multi-access FDMA/TDMA wireless communications.
6. RF System Design
7. Experience designing and deploying military satellite systems. X-Band and Ka-band.
8. RF system design (gain, phase noise, voltage standing wave radio [VSWR], intermodulation, group delay, EMI), multi-access techniques including frequency division multiple access (FDMA) and time division multiple access (TDMA) communications.
9. Experience with antenna systems, HPAs, network design, link budgets, testing, terminal installation and satellite standards (Intelsat and Eutelsat).
10. BSEE or similar

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

1. Design Software (Visio, AutoCAD)
2. Fixed, Motorized and VSAT Antenna Systems
