Electrical Supervisor Nuclear: Job Title Nuclear - Professional - Nuclear Electrical Supervisor Description Manages aspects of all ELECTRONIC nuclear construction processes/projects: proposal/estimating process, site setup and project execution strategies, scope definition of major subcontracts, schedule and manpower planning and site management systems (scheduling, progress reporting, time reporting, billing, etc): Plans, directs, coordinates and implements all nuclear plant electronic construction project while ensuring project proceeds on schedule and within budget. Oversees electronic estimates, planning and implementation of project objectives: Interfaces with owners, engineers, architects, and team members. With minimal supervision, provides construction engineering support by preparing electronic construction specifications, statements of work, equipment specifications, schedules, cost estimates and field management related to construction necessary for project implementation in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Provides technical input in the development of conceptual engineering documentation and detailed design packages. Plans, develops, and implements construction activities for the installation of design modifications of systems and components related to multiple engineering disciplines. Performs technical reviews, system walk-downs, field inspections, reviews and approvals of contractor submittals including progress schedules, and day-to-day technical support. Work effectively and transparently with design engineering disciplines or outside engineering firms to accomplish successful construction completion to meet project schedules. Manages specialty trade contractors Establish budgets, monitors and reports on construction project costs and manages the corrective actions. Maintains an open and constructive interface with other B&W divisions on construction-related issues. Liaise with the Engineering Manager to develop and “design for constructability” philosophy.
