Job Description
Overview:
Review structural specifications to ensure compliance while producing accurate detailed drawings for fabrication; work with other team members in drafting to ensure on time delivery of drafting deliverables to engineering department.Responsibilities:
1. Detailing Structural Steel based on Assembly model and Calculations.
2. Communicating with the fabrication shop on fabrication issues.
3. Creating layouts for design engineering.
Qualifications:
1. High School Graduate or associates degree with 10-15 years experience.
2. Understands ASME, AISC and ANSI codes.
3. Ability to develop checking skills
4. Ability to help train drafter I & II.
5. Ability to design structural layouts.
6. Capable of utilizing AutoCAD.
7. Works directly with lead designer and engineering team members in project execution to ensure work is carried out within specifications.
8. Works closely with drafting team members to ensure on time delivery.
