No COCS: E070 Estimated Duration of Assignment: Date of award thru September 27, 2012 Work Location: 200W/PFP Job Duties: Provide the Mechanical Engineering input to Decontaminate and Decommission (D&D) the aging Plutonium Finishing Plant (PFP) to slab-on-grade by September 2013. The task will require qualifying as a D&D engineer, working with Design Authorities and System Engineers, extensive interface with and support of crafts, operators, and First Line Management, qualify as a Radiological Worker II, procurement, set-up and testing of tools, systems, etc. specific to D&D. The Plutonium Finishing Plant (PFP) is 60+ year old facility Required Qualifications: (Complete if there is no name (s) specified)) BS in Mechanical Engineering, plus 10 years field experience as a mechanical engineer. Ability to qualify as a Radiological Worker II and qualify to respiratory protective equipment. Provide references from personnel involved in the work pertinent to the qualifications stated here.
