Yes COCS: E040 Estimated Duration of Assignment: 3/29/10 – 9/30/11 Work Location: 200W Job Duties: Provide the Engineering input to ensure facilities within the balance of the Hanford Nuclear site are electrically isolated (i.e. Cold & Dark) and are ready for further deactivation activities and demolition. The task will require qualifying as a Cold & Dark Engineer; working with Design Authorities, System Engineers and Planners; extensive interface with and support of crafts and First Line Management; qualify as a Radiological Worker II. Required Qualifications: (Complete if there is no name (s) specified)) BS in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 10+ years experience as an Electrical Engineer. Security Clearance Required: No Testing Designated Position: No Other Desirable Qualifications: (Complete if there is no name (s) specified) BS in Electrical Engineering is preferred. Hanford Nuclear Site or other DOE engineering experience, experience in the nuclear field, experience in nuclear Deactivate, Decommission, Decontaminate, and Demolish (D4) activities. Must have basic computer skills and be proficient with MS Office 2007 products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
