No COCS: E120 Estimated Duration of Assignment: 03/04/2010 – 12/31/2010 Work Location: 100K/MO500 DOE Hanford site Richland, WA Job Duties: Primary responsibilities will include: Occupational Safety and Health oversight and monitoring of deactivation, demolition and remediation of facilities in the 100-K area; Responding to emerging programatic and project-related safety and health compliance issues; Providing occupational safety and health regulation and program interpretation; Interfacing in continued development of job hazard analyses; Supporting conduct of operation/work improvement initiatives; Developing safety awareness and worker protection programs. Depending upon the experience of this individual, may direct or supervise the activities of subordinates. Required Qualifications: (Complete if there is no name (s) specified)) BA/BS degree in occupational safety or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience), plus two years of demonstrated experience in Safety Engineering and/or Industrial Hygiene (emphasis on Industrial Safety).
