Yes COCS: E070 Estimated Duration of Assignment: Date of award to September 30, 2012 Work Location: PFP DOE Hanford site Richland,WA Job Duties: The Plutonium Finishing Plant (PFP) is 60+ year old facility which is presently being Decontaminated and Decommissioned (D&D) to Slab-on-Grade by September 2013. The PFP Facility Engineering position includes performing as the Steam System Design Authority (DA) and as the primary and backup DA for several other mechanical systems. Qualification as a Site Engineer, PFP engineer, and DA is required. Responsibilities include maintaining operating systems, maintenance and repair, and supporting the safe and compliant D&D of Facility systems and any new systems required to safely and efficiently complete D&D. Required Qualifications: (Complete if there is no name (s) specified)) BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering. Experience operating, maintaining and repairing steam systems.
