Job Duties: Provides technical editing support to lead editors in the Publications Group and may be assigned to stand-alone projects and documents.

Performs editing activities from drafts through the final version of a document.

Responsible for complying to the CHPRC Style Guide and template standards.

Accountable for meeting objectives and deadlines for individual tasks/projects.

Develops strong working relationships with managers, document leads, and other client deliverable staff.

Populates and uses appropriate tools.

Proactively identifies and communicates potential issue/variances.

Applies lessons learned to future efforts.

Has knowledge of and potential ability to perform (at a basic level) contributing skills (including document processing, graphic design, and reprographics standards) supporting identification of best practices.

Supports the organization's strategy, mission, vision, and values by exhibiting excellence and competence, collaboration, innovation, respect and accountability, and ownership.

Required Qualifications: (Complete if there is no name (s) specified)) BS/BA degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field. Must have at least five years experience as a technical writer/editor. Must have a minimum of three years experience
Job Duties: Provide technical support in upgrading the Cold Vacuum Drying Facility computer systems (Monitoring and Control Systems, Automatic Temperature Controls, and Gasesous Effluent Monitoring Systems). This work is supporting maintaining the Cold Vacuum Facility in a state of readiness to process the remaining Multi-Canister Overpacks containing Knock-Out-Pot material and found fuel scraps.

Required Qualifications: (Complete if there is no name (s) specified))
• Recent and significant experience and expertise with Microsoft Programs. This includes Windows NT, Windows XP, Windows Servers, Windows 7 (new product)
• Training and experience with software configuration within an NQA-1 program.
• Direct experience with Dell hardware upgrades, modification, back-ups, and recovery.
• Extensive experience with troubleshooting both software and hardware issues, utilizing a full array of diagnosis tools and solutions.
• Experience with Hardware/Software migration from older platforms.
